The Ceremony Barn – A newly converted traditional stone barn with original wonky timbers and rustic brickwork, all beautifully lit to create an intimate and romantic atmosphere—the perfect place for the most precious day of your life.

At Humber Barn, we offer a warm, personal experience from your first enquiry right through to your wedding day. Our small, dedicated team is here to support you every step of the way, ensuring your planning journey is smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free.
When you book a visit, we’ll take you on a personal tour of Humber Barn, giving you the chance to explore the space, ask questions, and start visualising your perfect day. We’ll talk you through all of your options and help bring your wedding vision to life.
Booking Your Wedding Ceremony
To hold your legal wedding ceremony at Humber Barn, your first step is to provisionally book your date and time with the Devon Registration Service. You can do this by calling 0345 155 1002.
After securing your date, you’ll need to give notice of your intention to marry at your local registration office (such as the Teignbridge Registration Office). This must be done at least 29 days before your wedding date, and you'll need to attend an appointment in person – call 0345 155 1002 to arrange it.
Your notice will then be displayed publicly for 28 days, after which your ceremony can go ahead.
On Your Wedding Day
The registrars will arrive at Humber Barn on the morning of your ceremony and will meet with both of you for a quick 10-minute chat beforehand. While it’s tempting to be fashionably late, we recommend arriving in good time, as the registrars may have another ceremony scheduled after yours.
